May’s full moon is in Scorpio, and astrologers are saying this is the moon that will allow people to shed their old selves and move into their new lives, especially for four signs in particular.
“Scorpio moons are all about what’s hidden,” Julie Wilder, an astrologer and owner of the Spiral Circle Bookstore in Orlando, Florida, told USA TODAY.
On Monday, May 12, the full moon will be in the house of Scorpio, which will force all the zodiac signs to face aspects of themselves that are hidden in the shadows, but a few signs may be more sensitive than others.
Four signs will be affected the most by the moon
While everyone will feel the energy the Scorpio full moon brings, four signs in particular will feel it the most, said Wilder.
Those signs are the following:
- Taurus- Anyone born between April 20 and May 20
- Leo- Anyone born between July 23 and August 22
- Scorpio- Anyone born between October 23 and November 22
- Aquarius- Anyone born between Jan. 20 and Feb. 18
How will these 4 signs be affected?
While all signs will be affected, the moon will “deepen aspects” of fixed signs, according to Peralta.
The four signs listed above can expect to go through several different types of “miracles,” according to Parade.
- Taurus will see “romantic miracles” and miracles in their love life
- Leos will see “generational miracles,” which will allow them to heal generational curses
- Scorpios will be granted “self-made miracles” as the Flower moon calls on them to desire evolution and manifest personal growth
- Aquarius will see “milestone miracles,” which will allow them to overcome obstacles and push their limits
The Scorpio energy that the moon is bringing is “about the emotional attachment we have to our old life, our old selves,” said May. “This is the moon where let it all crumble.”

“Scorpio energy is about survival, it’s about death and rebirth,” said astrology TikToker May, known as @MayLiketheMonthh the social media platform.
The full moon will reveal things that are hidden, Robert Peralta, an astrologer with the Spiral Circle Bookstore, told USA TODAY. It offers an opportunity to bring out what’s hidden.
The moon will allow people to “hold space for the hidden aspects of ourselves,” said Wilder.
What to do during the full moon
All signs should embrace the change that comes with May’s full moon, especially Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
To do this, they should delve into creative endeavors, like writing or cooking, to uncover the hidden truths the Scorpio moon is attempting to uncover, said Peralta
