Brighton Pride is back — bigger, bolder, and more beautiful than ever. From August 1st to 4th, the city will transform into a vibrant, unapologetic celebration of LGBTQ+ life and culture, drawing in tens of thousands of revelers from across the UK and beyond.

Widely regarded as the UK’s most iconic Pride event, Brighton & Hove Pride 2025 promises an unforgettable weekend of music, colour, and community. This year’s theme, “Stronger Together”, reflects a renewed commitment to solidarity, inclusivity, and joy — the very heart of Pride.

🌈 Parade Power: The Heart of Pride

The Pride Community Parade, set to kick off at 11am on Saturday, August 2nd, will weave its way from Hove Lawns through the city to Preston Park in a kaleidoscope of floats, costumes, dancing, and defiant celebration. Expect bold statements, outrageous outfits, and marching bands, all underpinned by a powerful message of equality and love.

Every year, thousands line the streets for the parade — not just to cheer on the spectacle, but to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate the progress made, and still to be made.

🎤 Preston Park Festival: Music Meets Mission

Once the parade reaches Preston Park, the heart of the official Pride Festival begins. This year’s headliners are set to electrify the crowds. With performances from Jessie Ware, Olly Alexander, and Tove Lo, the main stage will be bursting with pop, pride, and pure energy.

But Pride is more than music — it’s also about giving back. All ticket proceeds support local LGBTQ+ charities and community projects, helping to fund vital work throughout the year.

🎶 Pride Village Party & After Hours

For those looking to carry the party well into the night, the Pride Village Party across Kemptown will deliver two days of open-air stages, street performers, cabaret, and club nights in some of Brighton’s most iconic LGBTQ+ venues.

Expect glitter-soaked crowds, DJs spilling out into the streets, and spontaneous dance-offs around every corner. Patterns, Club Revenge, Legends, and Charles Street Tap are just a few of the hotspots hosting ticketed events.

🧘‍♀️ Family, Reflection & Community

Pride isn’t just about the party. On Sunday, Pride in the Park: We Are Fabuloso offers wellness areas, family zones, and quieter community spaces for all ages and identities.

There’s also a Remembrance Vigil at New Steine Gardens — a moving and peaceful moment to honour those lost to HIV/AIDS and hate crimes, and to recommit to the ongoing fight for justice and equality.

🏳️‍🌈 A City Transformed

From rainbow-painted crossings to Pride flags waving from shopfronts, Brighton is already gearing up. Street art, bunting, and chalk messages of love cover The Lanes and North Laine. Even the i360 will be lit in rainbow colours as the city’s skyline becomes part of the celebration.

💬 Final Word

Brighton Pride 2025 will be a spectacular fusion of celebration and activism — a party with a purpose. Whether you’re dancing in the streets, marching for justice, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, one thing’s certain:
