The inaugural edition of the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy will be remembered for ages as India and England put up a display to remember as the five-match Test series ended in a 2-2 draw after all games went to the last day in a dramatic series.

Ben Duckett: England star Ben Duckett narrowly beats Yashasvi Jaiswal to the team with an impressive display that saw him score 462 runs at an average of 51.33 and strike-rate of 82.94 with one century and three half-centuries. He scored a vital knock of 147 in the fourth innings of England’s win at Headingley as they chased down a massive total of 371.
Shubman Gill – Shubman Gill’s debut series as India’s Test captain was nothing short of a fairytale as the 25-year-old made a record-breaking tally of 754 runs at an average of 75.40 with four centuries to his name.
Harry Brook: Harry Brook continued the dream start to his Test career and was awarded the Player of the Series (POTS) from England’s side. The 26-year-old made 481 runs with two centuries and two half-centuries, one of which was a knock of 99.
Ben Stokes (C): England captain Ben Stokes was a true warrior for the England team and their best bowler in the series with 17 wickets in four matches, including one five-wicket haul and another four-for. Stokes also scored a century in the Manchester Test and ended the series with 304 runs. The 34-year-old gets the nod as the captain of our team based on his experience.
Ravindra Jadeja: Ravindra Jadeja reminded the world why he is the undisputed World No.1 all-rounder with an incredible display that saw him score 516 runs at an average of 86, with one century and five half-centuries to his name. The 36-year-old also took seven wickets with the ball.
Josh Tongue: Despite being dropped from two test matches, Josh Tongue’s wicket-tally stands out. He is the series’ second-highest wicket-taker with 19 wickets in three matches.
